DiGivCards ("we", "us", "our") provides a digital visiting card platform available via our website and the DiGivCards mobile app (Android & iOS). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

Account information

• Name, email address, and mobile number — used for passwordless OTP sign-in and account registration.
• Business details you add to your profile (company name, designation, address).

Digital card content

• Contact details, business info, social links, quick links, listings, and gallery photos you choose to add to your card.
• Cover photos and theme/branding choices.

Usage & analytics data

• Card views, shares, and link clicks, shown to you in the in-app Analytics section.
• Device, app version, and crash/diagnostic data to help us fix bugs.

Payment information

• When you purchase a plan, payment is processed by Razorpay or Stripe. We do not store your card or bank account numbers — our payment partners handle that data under their own security standards.
• We retain transaction records (amount, date, status) for invoicing and support.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create, host, and let you share your digital visiting card.
• To authenticate you via OTP and keep your account secure.
• To process payments and send invoices/receipts.
• To provide analytics on how your card is being viewed and shared.
• To respond to support requests sent to support@digivcards.ai.
• To send service-related communications (e.g. OTP codes, payment confirmations). We do not send marketing email/SMS without your consent.

3. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with:

• Payment processors (Razorpay, Stripe) — to complete purchases.
• Infrastructure providers (Firebase/Google Cloud) — for authentication, hosting, and storage.
• Anyone you share your card with — the information on your digital card is visible to anyone who scans your QR code, taps NFC, or opens your card link, since that's the purpose of the product.
• Law enforcement or regulators, where required by law.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account and card data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your profile and card content within 30 days, except for records we are legally required to keep (e.g. payment/tax records). See our Account Deletion page for details.

5. Your Choices

• Edit or remove any information on your card at any time from the app.
• Control which sections of your card are visible (Permissions screen).
• Request a copy of your data or deletion of your account by contacting us.

6. Data Security

Your data is encrypted in transit and stored on secure cloud infrastructure. Access to your account requires OTP verification — we do not use passwords that can be guessed or leaked.

7. Children's Privacy

DiGivCards is intended for business and professional use and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified in the app or by email. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the revised policy.
